Two-Tone Denim Blue Gloss Kitchen

Two-Tone Denim Blue Gloss Kitchen

Wow! What a total transformation. From dark and dreary wood effect to fresh, bright and modern. What’s not to love about this gorgeous kitchen makeover?

So let’s start with the kitchen units. They were so tired and dated and needed a complete refresh. Mr & Mrs S selected a high gloss denim blue as the predominant colour, and for the island and tall units, they opted for a neutral Porcelain Shade. The natural colours used here are perfect for the property’s location as it is just a short walk to the beach.

I know we talk a lot about Quartz as our preferred material due to its durability. But really, laminate worktops still have their place, as long as the users take good care of them, using trivets for hot pans and avoiding excessive amounts of water near the edges, then laminate worktops can last for many years. With their children grown up and moved out, Mr and Mrs S were confident that laminate would be a perfect solution for them and chose Bushboard Options in Luna Quartzstone.

The appliances we supplied for this kitchen are:

  • Neff N50 60cm Fully Integrated Dishwasher
  • Caple Classic Freestanding Single Zone Wine Cabinet
  • Amica Fridge Freezer
  • Franke Maris 1.5 Bowl Sink and Drainer
  • Franke Panto Mixer Tap

I don’t think there is a perfect choice of tiles for this kitchen. The wall tiles are by Carmen Design and are called Fiorella Dania, a 20x20cm Porcelain tile that you can use on the wall or floor.

The floor tiles are a popular range available in our shop, Madera Tobaco, a wood effect porcelain tile which you can view here:

This fantastic installation, including the plumbing and tiling, was carried out by our Approved Installer, Gary Keegan of Keegan Carpentry and Joinery.
